We bid farewell in Hambantota

In December 2013, we bid farewell to all our friends and family in Hambantota as we closed down our flagship Children's Resource Centre there. After serving in the area for almost a decade along with the surge of development in the South, our Director Board has made an executive decision to shift YPF's resources to the more needy in the North of the country.

Hambanthota CRC was established in 2005 to help destitute and traumatized children after the devastating 2004 Asian tsunami. The centre provided educational and counseling services to nearly 3000 children from early 2005 to December 2013.

A special thank you to Mr. and Mrs. Allen who have been with us and serving the children from its inception. We are also grateful for the continuous assistance and encouragement by Mr. Ranjan Gomez.
